Looking for an excuse to come visit this winter? Well this is it! The five lands walk is a fabulous way to experience the Central Coast: its beaches, culture and eateries. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

The 5 Lands Walk is a day-long festival held on the Saturday closest to the winter solstice when the whales, a significant totem of the Darkinjung people, are migrating north, along 10 km of spectacular coastline. It's only 1.5 hours from Sydney and Newcastle.

Lagune in Wamberal specialises in wood-fired pizza - one of our previous guests who lives and runs an Airbnb in Italy highly recommended it.

Hungry wolf is a long term Terrigal restaurant and loved by visitors and locals alike.

The Terrigal hotel is great for for steak and hotel meals in a friendly atmosphere.

The schnitzel house in Erina is pretty much as its name implies and does great schnitzels.

If you want a fabulous view the Reef at Terrigal has set two or three course menus that are excellent value.

UPDATE: ANZAC day weekend is now booked.

We have a vacancy for the ANZAC day weekend. Attending the dawn service on Terrigal beach is a special way to remember the ANZAC tradition.
I will share in the comments some photos from a special ANZAC day morning a few years ago.

It is with great pleasure we can announce that our Anzac Day Dawn Service and March is on.

Veterans wishing to march should assemble in Church Street, in front of the Police Station, at 5:00am to step off at 5:15. The Service will commence at 5:30am.

Veterans and families are invited to participate in the Dawn Service. As we are required to record details of all participants for contact tracing purposes, therefore if you wish to participate can you please notify the Secretary of the contact details. You can notify via email at [email protected] prior to 23 April. There will be QR codes available at the Service for late registration and we ask that you use them.

Remember that all participants must comply with the 2 metre square rule during the Service. If you are unwell on the day please don’t attend.

Oh wow! Boardwalk from Terrigal village to the Haven and Skillion is getting closer to opening. What a difference this will make to the “flow” of Terrigal. Very much looking forward to making use of this new addition to the landscape.

Early dinner at The Reef Restaurant in Terrigal Haven last night. We have lived in the area for 21 years and for some reason this is the first time we have eaten here. The food and service were excellent and the location with its ocean and Terrigal village views can’t be beaten. Highly recommended!
