The idea was born in New Zealand back in 1999 after my many years of competing in snowboarding then working within the ski industry around the world. From building terrain parks and running events, through to judging contests on the World Cup Tour, I knew I wanted to share my passion for exploring new destinations and cultures with the local connections I’d met along the journey. Nowadays, our net

work of guides, athletes, staff and loyal customers drives me to keep searching for not only the best snow, but also the best overall travel experiences. In 2021, we're very excited to launch our new MTB tours based in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Europe and Canada making Mint Tours a global leader in adventure sports tourism. I also want to reaffirm our commitment to all our guests in an industry that is rapidly changing because of the global pandemic. Good timing for NZ.

Still a spot left on our Methven Heli tour starting 6 August

The record-breaking high-pressure system is moving away and the double-barreled low-pressure system is now creeping into NZ next.

Where will it snow the most? That is, off course, Aoraki Mount Cook region.

There will be a bit of top-up on Tuesday morning and it looks like a decent snow dump from Friday onwards.

It's been nice to have a series of clear skies, but we are happy to see some snow forecasts.
