Our team is made up of experienced teachers, that have noticed the toll teaching is taking on not only teachers in general, but in particular our beginning teachers entering the profession.
It is well established that in Australia there is between 25% and 40% of all newly-recruited teachers resign or “burn out” in their first three to five years of teaching (Ewing, R., Manuel, J. 2005.)
This has now unfortunately grown as of 2016 and teacher attrition is a major current issue in Australia with up to 50% of teachers resigning from teaching within the first 5 years in the classroom (Arnup and Bowles, 2016).
Our program aims to teach strategies that will lead to;
• Decreasing Teacher Stress
•Increasing Teacher Confidence
•Increasing the number of students on task and engaging in curriculum within the classroom
Our team is passionate about mentoring beginning teachers to equip them with the skills to flourish in a profession that is so valuable to our future.
