Sam recently enjoyed a trip to Paradise Falls in the heart of the King Valley🌊

The short 500m walk to the falls, was an adventure in itself, where his breath was taken away by the amazing vistas, and of course that staircase... which then took his breath away again on the return climb😆

But it was the magical rock ledge that creates an uninterrupted 31 metre waterfall that Sam confessed 'truly took my breath away and has stolen a little bit of my heart forever'. 😍

Paradise Falls is arguably the most visited waterfalls in our region. Spectacular even when they don't flow, with their unforgettable cliff face and natural staircase walkway leading you to this special place, we understand why it is so well loved. 😍💦 But to see the falls after this constant Spring rain, is an experience in itself, as stated by Kate Hanton who captured this amazing video, "Pack a raincoat! The spray blows straight at you as the power of the flow makes its own little weather system". It is wet, wet, wet, so drive carefully and check with Vic Roads or Emergency Services for updates on road conditions. One good thing comes from this much rain and this is that our magnificent waterfalls and cascading rivers will be flowing. This vision was taken a few years ago but may be a hint of what is to come next week. Time to get the hiking boots on and head in to the Warby Ovens National Park.
