But that means nothing to a couple who want a well planned, professional, personalised ceremony. My eye for detail, understanding the importance of creating a vision, presenting to the world your special story; all these come into play. So with your guidance we will find just the right words and feelings fitting for your one of a kind ceremony. What ever your ceremony, marriage, commitment ,vow renewal, naming day, funeral, memorial service, ash scattering and 21st you can be assured of a professional, friendly and reliable service. The legal requirements (as outlined in the Marriage Act 1961. The celebrant will solemnise the marriage and perform a ceremony in accordance with Government regulations. Assist you with completion of all relevant documentation. Plus lodgement and registration of all legal documents with the relevant BD@M. Maintain and secure all confidential documentation. We will need to complete a Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM) which is valid for 18months. Please note that the minimum notice date is one clear calender month prior to the wedding date. If you fall short of this date then further documentation is required. You will be required to present if possible your birth certificates, passports and possibly licences. All documents need to be in English or have an official translation attached. All documents must be original, extracts or certified copies. If there has been a previous marriage either a Decree Absolute of Divorce or a death certificate is required. If either couple has had a change of name by deed poll then an official Change of Name Document must be provided. You must be over 18 years of age. If not then I can guide you to the correct Government Office. Prior to the wedding ceremony (preferably at the rehearsal) the couple will have to sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage form. Two witnesses over 18 years of age are required for the ceremony. SERVICES
As per the Marriage Regulations of 1963 Code of Practice for marriage celebrants. The celebrant will create a meaningful, personal and unique ceremony tailored made for the couple's needs that draws from a range of fully prepared ceremonies. Meeting in my home or a mutally agreed location and time. Provide the couple with information concerning pre-marriage guidance counselling, plus all other relevant Government information. A wedding ceremony kit (to help you choose your style and wording). A wide selection of readings, poems, music and rituals for you to choose from. A checklist will be emailed to the couple after an initial contact to help them with details required. An onsite rehearsal. I will arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to go over last minute details. I will co-ordinate with musicians, photographers and others in the ceremony as needed. Supply a PA system, microphone with music facilities, table and chairs. (subject to location and weather). Cover all administrative costs
Deposit: At our first meeting I will require a non-refundable booking fee. The remainder is due two weeks before the ceremony. My costs will be included in the checklist Email
