*Llama Meet and Greet - 1 hour duration
This experience is ideal for families with small children or those just wanting to get up close and personal with the llamas. Meeting, patting and feeding the llamas and don't forget your camera for many photos!
$30 per person, age under 2 free
Must be one paying adult to supervise children

*5KM Hanging Rock Trek - 3 hour duration
Meet on the farm before we lead your llama into Hanging Rock Reserve and enjoy the wildlife and fresh air. Many amazing photo opportunities of this iconic landmark. Includes morning or afternoon tea.
$70 Per person
Minimum age is 12yrs old (public liability insurance requirement)
Max group size of 6 people (not suitable for infants)

*12KM Domino Rail Trail Trek - 5.5hr duration
Meeting in Lyonville before you head onto the gorgeous Domino Rail Trail of dense bush and beautiful scenery all the way to Trentham. Lunch can be purchased in Trentham or you are welcome to bring your own for a picnic.
$95 per person
Minimum age is 12yrs old (public liability insurance requirement)
Max group size is 6 people (not suitable for infants)

I'm open By Appointment only Thursday thru Sunday
Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All Bookings require a deposit that needs to be paid within 24hrs to secure the booking. An invoice will be emailed to you.
48hrs is required for all cancellations. If 48hrs is not given, your deposit may not be refunded. If you cancel within 24hrs of your booking, you will not be offered a refund. I NO LONGER PROVIDE GIFT CARDS OR VOUCHERS. Please wear closed toe shoes to all experiences and wear appropriate clothing for the Woodend weather predictions! Please arrive before your start time. If you are going to be more than 10min late the trek will continue without you as we cannot wait for late arrivals. HRLT will be closed from the 6th May until mid August. I require some time off to recover after back surgery and embark on a little rehab. If anything changes I'll keep you updated so stay tuned for the reopening date.

Farm Experience This experience is ideal for families with young children. It includes morning/afternoon tea and having fun leading your llama through an obstacle course. Approx 1.5hrs duration, Maximum group size of 6. $35 per person (12yrs and older) $25 per child (under 12yrs) As of January 1 2021, prices will change to $35 per person (3yrs and under free but will need to share a llama with a paying adult) If you already have an existing booking the current price will apply. There must be at least one full paying adult in each group to supervise children. Not suitable for prams Hanging Rock Reserve Walk This experience is for ages 12yrs and over only, 5km walk over 3hrs including entry into the iconic Hanging Rock Reserve and morning or afternoon tea. Maximum group size of 6. $55 per person As of January 1 2021, price will change to $60 per person. If you already have an existing booking the current price will apply. Not suitable for prams or infants due to safety reasons

Domino Trail Day Walk This experience is on the Domino Rail Trail, between Trentham and Lyonville and return, 12km over approx 5.5hrs. Maximum group size of 6. $75 per person (aged 12yrs+) $65 per child (under 12yrs) As of January 1 2021, price will change to $80 per adult and $70 per child under 12yrs. If you already have an existing booking the current price will apply. Not suitable for prams or infants due to safety reasons On a llama trek you can hike the beautiful and serene locations of the Macedon Ranges and Hepburn Shire. You will see and experience the Australian bush in a very unique way.

Llamas make great hiking companions, and in fact the relationship goes far beyond them simply transporting your supplies. Llamas are naturally curious and very aware of their surroundings, often the first to spot wildlife along the trail. They enjoy new sights and become very much a partner in your adventure.
