A day at St Andrew’s, we caught the train from Edinburgh on a misty morning. As it was Sunday, St Andrew’s old course was opened to the public to walk over. Gurk of course was in his element & whilst a game was not possible we enjoyed a drink at The Links Club house, & a fabulous lunch at the “18th “restaurant overlooking the 18th hole of the old course. In the background is the famous beach where Chariots of fire was filmed.
