DAY 1 Naples – Sorrento hotel
arrival in Naples airport, transfer to Naples city center by private coach and guide. Enjoy a real Neapolitan pizza for lunch in a local
restaurant then visit the main sights and monuments of Naples before continuing to the Sorrentine coast. Accommodation in your hotel.
Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 Pompei – Mozzarella farm
breakfast. In the morning, drive to Pompeii for a guided visit of the ancient ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (entrance tickets
included). After the visit, drive to visit a Mozzarella producer and enjoy a tasting of the mozzarella cheese. Return to your hotel in
Sorrento. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3 Sorrento · Capri
After breakfast you’ll be embarked to Capri island. Upon arrival at the port you’ll board on a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918
feet (280 meters) above the sea level. You’ll see wonderful views of the bay of Naples before continuing to a local restaurant for lunch.
Accommodation in your hotel.
In the afternoon you can take advantage of some free time to explore Capri at your leisure or to go shopping or, depending on weather
conditions, you can take an optional boat ride to the popular and dreamy “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an
underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. Dinner on your won. Overnight.
DAY 4 Capri
You will have plenty of time after your hotel breakfast to explore the beauty of Capri, sometimes called the “Garden of Eden,” at your
own pace. Discover the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful, sunny island or take a swim in the Gulf of Naples. If you’d rather
take a day trip, you may book a separate excursion to nearby Anacapri, situated on the slopes of Monte Solario; the port city of Marina
Grande; I Faraglioni, three impressive rock structures that have survived many kinds of erosion but yet still protrude grandly out of the
sea; or the famous Villa Jovis, a residence built for the emperor Tiberius in the First Century BC. Lunch and dinner on your own. Return
to your hotel for one last evening in Capri.
DAY 5 Capri · Sorrento · Positano
After breakfast, depart to Sorrento by ferry. Once on the mainland you will board on a coach and with the assistance of a local guide
head out to Positano driving along the Amalfi Coast on the most famous road in the Campania region. In Positano, check in at your
hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight.
DAY 6 Positano
Breakfast. See all that Positano has to offer as you set off to explore the ancient fishermen’s village after breakfast. Known for its cubic
Empire houses perched upon cliffs looking over turquoise water, Positano is the most well-known summer resort area on the whole
peninsula. Walk to the heart of town on Via Pasitea and weave your way through the city’s narrow streets, terraces, and gardens
overlooking the bay. Be sure to buy one of the straw handbags or handmade sandals for which Positano is famous. Return to your
hotel for one last overnight. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight.
DAY 7 Positano · Naples
Enjoy a final breakfast in your hotel before setting off to Naples airport, where our tour will conclude.

Day 1)
arrival in Palermo airport. Meet your bus/driver and tour leader/guide for your transfer to Palermo. Accommodation in hotel. Rest of the
day at leisure before dinner and overnight.
Day 2)
breakfast. Guided visit of Palermo, charming capital of Sicily, one of the richest cities in Europe from IX to XII centuries when Islamic
culture, Byzantine magnificence and vigorous world of medieval Europe were merging into a fascinating civilization. Today, the city
maintains a sense of cultural diversity and is famous for its art, music and food. You will visit the Cathedral, the Palazzo dei Normanni
with its Palatine Chapel (entrance included), the Pretoria Square and the S. Giovanni degli Eremitani Church. In the afternoon drive to
Monreale where you will visit the majestic Norman Cathedral and Cloister. Return to your hotel in Palermo for dinner and overnight.
Day 3)
breakfast. Drive to Segesta to visit one of the best-preserved ancient Greek sites in existence. Continue to Erice, a small medieval
village with ancient Greek origins, situated on a little hill. Accommodation in your hotel in Erice (or Trapani). Dinner and overnight.
Day 4)
breakfast. After a short visit of Trapani, drive to visit a local wine producer in the area of Marsala, where you can also enjoy a sampling
of some local wines and foods. Continue your journey to Agrigento. Accommodation in your new hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5)
breakfast. The morning will be dedicated to the visit of Agrigento and the Valley of Temples, which represent the most beautiful
example of the Greek civilization in Sicily. Continue to Piazza Armerina, where the Villa Romana del Casale will fascinate you with its
splendid Roman mosaics (UNESCO world heritage site). Your journey continues to the east coast. Accommodation in your new hotel
for the last 3 nights in the area between Catania-Taormina. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 6)
breakfast. In the morning, sightseeing tour of Catania with its original baroque style and its unique streets built with lava black stone
including the magnificent Cathedral and the famous Piazza Duomo where the “Liotru” statue (a black lava stone elephant statue) is set.
In the afternoon, proceed for a panoramic tour of the seaside towns of Aci Castello, Aci Trezza and Aci Reale. Return to your hotel.
Dinner on your own. Overnight
Day 7)
breakfast. Today is dedicated to Mt Etna (drive up to 1000mt-Rifugio Sapienza), the highest active volcano in Europe, and Taormina, a
small village called the “pearl of the Ionic Sea” famous for its typical picturesque narrow streets and its fascinating ancient Greek
Theatre. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Taormina. Return to your hotel in the evening. Dinner on your own. Overnight

DAY 1 Bari (D)
Arrival in Bari on your own. Meet our Tour Leader in your hotel in Bari, the main city of Puglia, and from here start our tour to discover
this wonderful region. Walking tour in the afternoon to learn about the city's history and its most relevant monuments. Walk through the
charming narrow alleys of the old city center, admire the Basilica of San Nicola where the remains of Saint Nicholas of Myra are
preserved and the Norman-Swabian Castle, a 12th century fortress built by Roger the Norman and rebuilt by Frederick II of Swabia. Be
amazed by the astonishing view that you can enjoy from the fortress (admission fee for the Castle at own expense). After the visit,
reach Piazza Mercantile where you will see the ancient Column of Justice. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Bari > Trani > Castel del Monte > Alberobello (B, D)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before leaving Bari by coach to reach Trani. Known as the 'Pearl of Puglia', the medieval town of Trani
is one of the most remarkable cities of Southern Italy. Discover its art and monuments, visit the Jewish quarter and the wonderful white
stone Cathedral. In the afternoon, reach Castel Del Monte, one of Puglia’s most acclaimed landmarks. Visit this UNESCO World
Heritage Site built in the 13th century under Roger the Norman, one of the most enlightened kings in history.
The building is a harmonious geometrical complex, shaped as an octagon and surrounded by a still unsolved mystery. Your journey will
continue towards Alberobello: a world-known UNESCO World Heritage Site made famous by the “Trulli”. These drystone cone-shaped
houses were built in the 14th century from local limestone and this village is really unique, with a fairytale-like atmosphere.
The town of Alberobello gets its name from the ancient oak forest of “Arboris Belli” (beautiful trees) that once covered the area. It is
possible to see these typical buildings all over the Itria Valley. Overnight stay in a scattered hotel, sleeping in a real “Trullo”. Dinner
included.

DAY 3 Alberobello > Matera > Alberobello (B, D) Matera
will be the destination for today. After breakfast, in the "square" of the scattered hotel (consider 200 m from the Trulli), the coach will
take you to this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit and learn the history of the “Sassi di Matera” (Stones of Matera), caves
that have been used as houses for over 9.000 years! that are part of the historic center of the city. Admire the Romanesque Cathedral
that overlooks the city, its beautiful “Campanile” (Bell Tower) and enjoy the amazing view of the “Sassi”. Transfer back to Alberobello in
the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the “Trullo”.
DAY 4 Alberobello > Locorotondo > Ostuni > Lecce (B, D)
Breakfast in the "square" of the scattered hotel (consider 200 mts from the Trulli. Leave Alberobello by coach and reach Locorotondo.
Enjoy some free time to visit this small town that is part of the “white towns” of Puglia. Board on the coach again and travel to Ostuni:
located between the “Trulli” region and Salento, overlooks the coastal plain rich of ancient olive trees. Free time at your disposal to
explore another “white town” with free time for lunch, shopping and tasting of several local products like the world’s famous olive oil (all
at your own expenses). In the late afternoon, get again on board of the coach and reach Lecce in the heart of the Salento region.
Dinner and overnight.
DAY 5 Lecce > Otranto > Dinner at the “Masseria le Stanzìe > Lecce (B, D)
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a 3 hour guided visit of the city, learn the history of Lecce, visit the old town center, the 12th century
Cathedral, the Basilica of Santa Croce and Piazza del Duomo. After the visit, board on the coach and leave Lecce. You will reach
Otranto where you will have some free time at your disposal for lunch. Spend the afternoon visiting the wonderful city of Otranto at your
pace. Over the centuries, the city has been invaded by an impressive number of populations, amongst the others we can find traces of
Greek, Roman and Turkish cultures. Wander around the old quarters to see how these cultures have blended together. Don’t forget to
visit the iconic Cathedral where the bones of 813 martyrs are displayed in a glass case behind the altar. See its marvelous mosaic floor
which rivals the well-known mosaics of Ravenna in its richness and significance. In the early evening, reach Supersano where you will
have dinner at the “Masseria le Stanzìe”. Visit this ancient farm, learn about the history and culture of Puglia. See how homemade
pasta is made and visit the medieval tombs that are part of the farm. Dinner with typical meals and products from the region. In the
night, travel back to Lecce. Overnight.
DAY 6 Lecce (B) Enjoy one final breakfast at the hotel. End of our services

DAY 1 Rome
Welcome to Rome! After meet at the airport your driver, you will be transferred to your hotel (Transfer included!). After dinner (on your
own) be ready for the departure of the Rome by night tour. Our local expert guide will lead you to discover the wonders of the Eternal
City, charming by day - absolutely romantic by night. You enjoy the whole center of this magic city in the moonlight during this
panoramic mix of bus and walking tour. The tour ends in Colosseum area. Enjoy on your own the rest of the night. Return to the hotel
on your own and overnight stay.
DAY 2 Rome · Assisi · Siena · Florence
Breakfast. Early departure from your hotel by a deluxe coach, you will arrive in Assisi, ready to explore, at your own leisure, this tiny
town surrounded by walls, built in the Middle Ages. Take your time to visit the basilica of St. Francis, where you will see masterpieces
by Giotto and Cimabue and, then, have free time for lunch before boarding on the bus to reach Siena, a Unesco World Heritage Site,
world-known for the Palio, the historical horse race around the shell-shaped town square: Piazza del Campo. Next, you will continue on
to Florence, where you will check in at your hotel before enjoying dinner and a well-earned night of rest.
DAY 3 Florence
After breakfast, you will spend the day venturing around beautiful Florence, the “Cradle of Renaissance", where, with the help of
Michelangelo, Italian art reached its pinnacle. In the morning, a local guide will accompany you to visit the uncountable monuments,
churches and buildings such as Santa Maria del Fiore, more commonly referred to as the Duomo, with its magnificent dome built by
Filippo Brunelleschi. Cross a small piazza to see the “Campanile” tower (partly designed by Giotto) and the Baptistery, with its bronze
doors where Michelangelo imagined the “Gates of Paradise.” In the heart of the city, you will see Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo della
Signoria (also known as Palazzo Vecchio), and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant. Spend the afternoon
strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own. Dinner at leisure, overnight stay in Florence.
DAY 4 Florence · Bologna · Padua · Venice
After breakfast in Florence, departure to Bologna. There, with the help of a local guide, you will discover the elegant city center with its
“porticos”, it’s shopping streets and so on. From Piazza Malpighi you will walk to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore (Neptune
square and Major square) in the heart of the city, then King Renzo’s Palace; Palazzo Podestà and the basilica of San Petronio, one of
the biggest in the world. Bologna it’s a real gourmet’s heaven…don’t miss a tasty meal at your own leisure! In the afternoon, continue
toward Padova, with Sant’Antonio Basilica: one of the most visited churches by pilgrims of the catholic world. Later in the afternoon,
arrival in Mestre. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5 Venice
After breakfast, transfer by bus to the Tronchetto parking and pier then enjoy a private water-taxi transfer to Piazza San Marco, where
a local guide awaits you to visit the splendid St. Mark’s Basilica (“Skip the Line” tickets included) and after this check out the most
iconic places of the “Floating City”: the Palazzo dei Dogi (outside), symbol of Venice’s glorious past, the legendary “Bridge of Sighs”.
Spend the afternoon roaming along Venice’s canals at your leisure and then return to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 6 Venice · Tuscany Wine Region · Rome
After breakfast, departure from Mestre heading to Tuscany, world-known for its landscapes, its churches and castles and its delicious
wines. You will proceed to the Chianti wine region with a stop in one of the small medieval towns renowned for its wine and lunch in a
typical restaurant including a sample of different local wines!! After lunch, quick stop to spend some free time. In the evening, you will
arrive in Rome to check in into your hotel. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 7 Rome
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel for the guided tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica! Upon arrival,
your guide will lead you into the museums where you’ll visit one of the most important art collections of the world. Walk along the
beautiful Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps before admiring Raphael’s Rooms and, then, the amazing Sistine Chapel.
After this incredible masterpiece, you will be taken by a privileged door to St. Peter’s Basilica: the biggest church in the world! The tour
ends in St. Peter’s Square. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore the city at your own leisure or get any one of our selected tours for the
afternoon or at night! Overnight stay.
DAY 8 Rome
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. End of services.

Day 1: Rome

Day 2: Catholic Rome - Baroque Rome
Departure from the hotel (by private coach) for the guided tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica! Upon
arrival, your guide will lead you into the museums where you’ll visit one of the most important art collections of the world. Walk along

and most exotic plants can be found. In the afternoon, continue to Frascati where you will stop to visit a local wine
producer/cellar and enjoy a tasting of some local wines and products. Return to Rome. Dinner on your own. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: Antique Rome – cooking class
Breakfast in hotel. Guided sightseeing tour of Ancient Rome: you will discover the Capitol Hill, which was the political and religious
center of the Empire, the Roman Forum, the Arch of Constantine and finally the Colosseum (entrance included). Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, participate in a cooking class where you can prepare pasta (or pizza) then enjoy the meal which you skillfully
prepared. Overnight.
Day 5: Rome - Home

DAY 1) MILAN
arrival in Milan Malpensa airport, transfer to Milan city center by private coach and tour leader. Meet a local guide for a city sightseeing
tour including the main sights: Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral (outside), Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, La Scala Theater (outside), etc.
Accommodation in your hotel in Milan. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2) MILAN – LAKE ORTA – LAKE MAGGIORE
breakfast. Departure to the Lake Orta, a small and charming lake situated in the north-eastern side of the region Piedmont. Stop in the
beautiful village of Orta for a short visit. Then, tour by boat to reach the island of San Giulio, just in front of the village: it is known as
“the Pearl of the Lake”, almost entirely occupied by the Monastery Mater Ecclesiae, famous for studies on antique books. After a short
visit, you will take the ferry back to Orta and then leave by bus to Lake Maggiore, one of the largest Italian lakes. On route stop to visit
a vineyard/cellar and sample a few local wines accompanied by a snack. Continue to Lake Maggiore, wedged between the pre-alps,
and of clear glacial origin, it is framed in its lower section by the soft hills of the region of Novara and by high mountain peaks with
perpetual snows. Thanks to its mild climate, many species of flowers and plants typical to the sub-tropical climate could adapt to the
lake areas climate. Accommodation in your hotel (Stresa, Verbania or other locality on the lake). Overnight
DAY 3) LAKE MAGGIORE
Breakfast. Arrival in Stresa, an international tourist resort situated in a central but also panoramic and picturesque position along the
lakeside roadway. Enjoy a boat excursion to the ‘Borromee’ islands: Isola Madre and Isola Bella, on which you will visit the beautiful
Palaces, then finally to Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’s Island). This last small island was named after the main activity that, over the
centuries, has characterized this fishermen town. Although only few families still maintain the original activity, the identity of the small
community appears intact. Return to Stresa by boat then back to your hotel. Overnight

DAY 4) LAKE COMO
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting off to Lake Como. Upon arrival in Como, a local guide will show you around this small town
with amazing natural panoramas of mountains and wild alpine valleys. The lake itself, sometimes called Lario, has long been famous
for its y-shape, its three branches intersecting at Bellagio, that you will visit via boat. Separating the lake’s two southern arms with the
alps dominating the horizon to the north, Bellagio is home to some of the most charming landscapes in Italy. Spend some time strolling
this picturesque village with its small streets, luxury hotels, villas, and gardens, stopping for lunch in one of the many cafés in town (not
included). Back on the boat, you will make your way to Tremezzo, where you will visit the renowned Villa Carlotta. Accommodation in
your hotel on Lake Como. Overnight
DAY 5) LAKE COMO – BERGAMO – LAKE GARDA
Breakfast. Departure to Bergamo, a truly historic and artistic jewel characterized by its urban structure: the “lower town” (città bassa) is
modern and dynamic, while the famous “upper town” (città alta) houses the city’s medieval history. After a short walking tour in the city
center, continue to Lake Garda. Accommodation in your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 6) SIRMIONE – LAKE GARDA
After breakfast at your hotel, you will have a panoramic tour of the lake’s west coast, taking in the splendid natural scenery: brilliant
colors, the Dolomites of Brenta, and the gentle slopes of the moraine hills. Enjoy the area’s rich vegetation, including lemon trees,
oleanders, magnolias, and bougainvillea that flourish thanks to the Mediterranean climate. So be sure to taste some of the olive oil and
wines made locally. Next, you will move on to Sirmione, where you will visit the Castle and the Catullo’s ruins (entrances not included).
In the afternoon, depart for Riva del Garda on the north side of the lake, where you will see its venetian-style historic center. Return to
your hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7) VERONA – MILAN AIRPORT
Fuel up on breakfast at your hotel before setting out to see the famous city of Verona, a work of art in itself. This fascinating crossroad
of historical periods and cultures (both classical and Germanic) is a blend of both Nordic and Mediterranean influences that is both
ancient and modern. A local guide will accompany you through its narrow streets and will allow you to get in touch with Verona’s varied
and fascinating past: traces of its splendid roman origins, its medieval structures, its magnificent renaissance palaces, as well as the
impressive fortifications protecting it. The combination of art and history will fascinate you. Spend some time eating lunch (not included)
before departing for Milan airport, where your tour will come to an end.
Note: the program is of course subject to variations according to exact flight arrival/departure times.
