Hutovo Blato is a nature reserve and bird reserve located in BiH. It is composed of marshlandsthat were created by the underground aquifer system of the Krupa River.
Since 1995, Hutovo Blato has been protected as a Hutovo Blato Nature Park and managed by a public authority. The whole place is protected from human impact and functions as an important habitat for many plants as well as animals. Historical site, Old Fortress Hutovo Blato, is located in the area of Nature Park.

Mt. Igman has an average height of 1,300-1,400 meters, and its highest peak is Crni Vrh (1,502 m). Igman was one of the main competitive venues during the Sarajevo Olympics. Igman is a mountain with extremely high concentration of ozone, and as an air spa it is extremely suitable for sport team training. The cross-country ski events were held on Veliko Polje, and the 70- and 90-meter ski jump installations were built on Malo Polje.
During the last war (1992-1995), the only way to reach Hrasnica was over Igman. Later on, the Tunnel beneath the Sarajevo Airport runway provided access to besieged Sarajevo.
Igman’s strategic position made it the site of many fierce battles, the most intense of which was in July and August of 1993, when the supply route to Sarajevo was almost cut off.

Unique natural phenomenon of Čvrsnica are Hajdučka Vrata (Outlaw’s Gate). They are a remarkable stone circle, formed during thousands of years by wind, rain, sun and other natural conditions. Its beauty and the view from there are simply breathtaking. The legend says that Hajduci proclaimed themselves there, and everyone who passed the gate became bullet proof. Hajduci were an outlaws in the area of Southeastern Europe. Their main enemy was Ottoman state, therefore, they were rebels and fighters for freedom among folk.
