Hello March! We welcome you with open arms! 🤗🤗
Yes, we know, it's been a while since we've made a post but we're still here, promise! Ready and waiting for you for when you're ready to visit beautiful Barbados! 🇧🇧

If you've been following, you'd know our country was on "pause" for the past few weeks in an effort to manage the challenges surrounding the covid-19 pandemic.
Today, we've started a phased reopening with restrictions being relaxed and some businesses allowed to operate. Our favorite part? An afternoon time slot being added for beach time! (Albeit for exercise purposes, but it's still a plus!)

It's been a really tough time but we're all in this together and we'll get through it! We are looking forward to creating your bespoke holiday experiences, which will hopefully include lots of sunshine, good eats and plenty beach side cocktails! ☀️🍹

On this day one year ago - November 1, 2019 - Exquisite Escapes was officially launched! 🥳

Did you hear?! BARBADOS IS COVID FREE!! 🎉🎉 Yes! 35 days no local transmission, 0 active cases and everyone has been released from isolation and quarantine.

This is such great news! And it gets better! Our airport reopens to scheduled flights.. next month! So very excited to welcome you back!

In Barbados, on April 28th each year, we celebrate our 10 National Heroes - persons who have contributed significantly to the development of our beautiful island.

While all credit given them to is well deserved, I would also like to recognize and honour our modern day heroes today. All the front line workers and essential services, whether in the medical field, supermarkets, sanitation services, etc. You are all appreciated, and we thank you greatly for your service and dedication to ensuring our island pushes through this pandemic.

Thank you and Happy Heroes Day! In true bajan style - big up wanna self!
