Thai Airways has resumed its flights on the Dhaka-Bangkok route after Thailand eased restrictions on air travel from Bangladesh.

The airline resumed the service on Thursday, with flight TG321 arriving in the capital at 12:30pm.

Based on passenger demand, Thai said it intends to add more flights in the coming months.

SINGAPORE AIRLINES OPENS FOR TRANSIT PASSENGERS

Passengers can now transit through to all available destinations.
Passengers are advised to arrive 4.5 hours before departure at Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Health officials will validate the print-out to the passenger's negative COVID-19 pre-departure test result to the check-in counter. Proceed to immigration clearance after completing check-in.

The test will have to be taken within two days before the scheduled departure date of their flight. The requirement for a pre-departure COVID-19 test doesn't apply to children aged 2 years and below.

সম্মানিত রেমিটেন্স যোদ্ধা প্রবাসীদের জন্য মধ্যপ্রাচ্যগামী ফ্লাইটের টিকেটের মূল্য কমানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স কর্তৃপক্ষ। আগামী ১৬ জানুয়ারি, ২০২২ তারিখ থেকে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের জেদ্দা, রিয়াদ, দাম্মাম, দুবাই ও আবুধাবি রুটে আসন খালি থাকা সাপেক্ষে নতুন টিকেট ক্রয়ের ক্ষেত্রে হ্রাসকৃত সর্বোচ্চ ভাড়ার স্তর কার্যকর হবে। তবে বরাবরের ন্যায় ভাড়ার নিম্নস্তরসমূহ চালু থাকবে।

১. ঢাকা-জেদ্দা রুটে ইকোনমি ক্লাসের প্রতিটি টিকেটের একমুখী সর্বোচ্চ ভাড়া বর্তমানে ট্যাক্সসহ ৭২,৪৫৫ টাকা থেকে কমিয়ে ট্যাক্সসহ ৬৪,৮২০ টাকা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে।
২. ঢাকা-রিয়াদ/দাম্মাম রুটে ইকোনমি ক্লাসের একমুখী সর্বোচ্চ ভাড়া বর্তমানে ট্যাক্সসহ ৭০,৭৫৮ টাকা থেকে কমিয়ে ট্যাক্সসহ ৬৩,১২৩ টাকা করা হয়েছে।
৩. ঢাকা-দুবাই রুটে ইকোনমি ক্লাসের একমুখী সর্বোচ্চ ভাড়া বর্তমানে ট্যাক্সসহ ৭৫,৫০৮ টাকা থেকে কমিয়ে ট্যাক্সসহ ৬২,৭৮৪ টাকা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে।
৪. ঢাকা-আবুধাবী রুটে ইকোনমি ক্লাসের একমুখী সর্বোচ্চ ভাড়া বর্তমানে ট্যাক্সসহ ৬৭,০২৫ টাকা থেকে কমিয়ে ট্যাক্সসহ ৫৮,৫৪২ টাকা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে।
উল্লেখ্য, প্রতিটি টিকেটের সাথে ৭,৬৪৪ থেকে ৯,৬৮০ টাকা পর্যন্ত নির্ধারিত ট্যাক্স যুক্ত আছে।

Biman Bangladesh set to fly Manchester again after 21 months of Covid suspension.

The authorities will reopen the services on Biman’s former route from Dhaka to Sylhet to Manchester.

The flight, BG207, is scheduled to take off from Shahjalal International Airport at 12:30 pm and reach Sylhet around 1:15 pm, before departing for Manchester at 2:15 pm on Dec 25, Biman said in a statement on Tuesday. It will reach Manchester at 8 pm local time.

Biman will run two flights a week on the route with Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets. Tickets will be available at the Biman sales centre or approved travel agencies.

COVID-RELATED INSTRUCTIONS

Passengers are allowed to enter England two weeks after completing their COVID-19 vaccine course. They have to fill out an online passenger location form or PLF within 48 hours of departure. [gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-detailsbefore-travel-uk]

Passengers aged 12 years or above must have COVID-negative certificates with QR codes for tests carried out within 48 hours of departure. They will have to undergo COVID tests within two days of reaching the UK. Tests have to be booked with payment ahead of entering the country. [gov.uk/find-travel-testprovider]

All passengers have to self-isolate before receiving the results of their tests and carry their results on them at all times during the trip. England accepts inoculation by vaccines produced by Pfizer, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, COVAXIN, Sinopharm and Sinovac.

Biman also mentioned that unvaccinated individuals can travel to the United Kingdom as well if their COVID test results turn up negative within 48 hours of departure. They also have to fill out PLFs online within 48 hours of departure and carry COVID negative certificates.

These passengers have to undergo COVID tests within two days and after eight days of reaching the UK. They must prebook their diagnosis before departure and self-isolate for 10 days until receiving results there.

In case of returning to Bangladesh, passengers aged 12 years or above must undergo RT-PCR tests within 48 hours of flying and carry COVID-negative certificates.

Saudi Arabia restricts overseas Umrah pilgrims to 18-50 age group.

Those under 18 years of age and those over 50 will not be able to make the pilgrimage.

The decision was taken to restrict the number of overseas travellers amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The government added that all travellers to the country must also have both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Saudi Arabia and must submit an officially endorsed vaccine certificate to the Saudi Foreign Ministry in order to get an electronic entry visa.

The Ministry of Umrah and Hajj has also launched two health apps – Eatmarna and Tawakkalna – to facilitate obtaining permits to perform rituals at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and pray in the Prophet Mohammed Mosque in Medina.

Saudi Arabia eased coronavirus restrictions last month as the pandemic situation stabilises in the country amid a sharp drop in infections.

Full capacity at the two holy mosques in Mecca and Medina has been reinstated as measures requiring the mandatory distancing of worshippers are lifted.

However, all worshippers are still required to wear face masks at both locations.

ঢাকা-সিঙ্গাপুর রুটে ফ্লাইট শুরু করেছে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স

বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স বাংলাদেশ থেকে সিঙ্গাপুরে যাত্রী পরিবহন করছে। সিঙ্গাপুর যেতে হলে যাত্রীদেরকে অবশ্যই সিঙ্গাপুর কর্তৃপক্ষ কর্তৃক দেশটিতে প্রবেশের অনুমতিপত্র গ্রহণ করতে হবে।সর্বশেষ ৪ মে থেকে বাংলাদেশ হতে সিঙ্গাপুরে যাত্রী পরিবহন বন্ধ ছিল।

২৮ অক্টোবর থেকে ১২ নভেম্বর পর্যন্ত সপ্তাহে প্রতি বৃহস্পতিবার এবং ১৩ নভেম্বর থেকে সপ্তাহে প্রতি শনিবার, মঙ্গলবার ও বৃহস্পতিবার ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করবে বিমান। ঢাকা থেকে স্থানীয় সময় সকাল ৮:৩০ টায় সিঙ্গাপুরের উদ্দেশে বিমানের ফ্লাইট ছেড়ে যাবে এবং সিঙ্গাপুর থেকে সেখানকার স্থানীয় সময় বিকাল ৩:৫০ টায় ঢাকার উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করবে।
সিঙ্গাপুর যেতে হলে যাত্রীদেরকে অবশ্যই সিঙ্গাপুর কর্তৃপক্ষ কর্তৃক দেশটিতে প্রবেশের অনুমতি পত্র গ্রহণ করতে হবে এবং অনুমোদিত কোভিড-১৯ এরটিকার পূর্ণ ডোজ গ্রহণ করতে হবে। ফাইজার, মডার্না, অস্ট্রাজেনেকা, সেরামের কোভিশিল্ড, সিনোফার্ম, সিনোভ্যাক টিকার যে কোন একটির ২ ডোজ এবং জনসনের টিকার ক্ষেত্রে ১ ডোজ নেয়ার কমপক্ষে ১৪ দিন পর থেকে সিঙ্গাপুরে যাওয়া যাবে।

২ বছরের বেশি বয়সী যাত্রীদেরকে ফ্লাইট ছাড়ার পূর্ববর্তী সর্বোচ্চ ৪৮ ঘন্টার মধ্যে করোনা পরীক্ষা করাতে হবে এবং নেগেটিভ সনদ থাকতে হবে। সিঙ্গাপুর পৌঁছে ১০ দিন হোটেল কোয়ারেন্টাইন থাকতে হবে। কোয়ারেন্টাইনের তৃতীয় ও সপ্তম দিনে নিজ খরচে অ্যান্টিজেন রেপিড টেস্ট করাতে হবে এবং ১০ম দিনে নিজ খরচে কোভিড-১৯ পিসিআর পরীক্ষা করাতে হবে। সংক্ষিপ্ত সময়ের জন্য ভ্রমণে গেলে যাত্রীদেরকে চাঙ্গি বিমানবন্দরে করোনা পরীক্ষা করাতে হবে যার জন্য পূর্বেই 1অনলাইনে রেজিস্ট্রেশন ও ফি প্রদান করতে হবে। সিঙ্গাপুর যাওয়ার পূর্বে মোবাইলে ‘Trace Together’ অ্যাপ ডাউনলোড করতে হবে। সিঙ্গাপুর বিমানবন্দরে যাত্রীদেরকে অভ্যর্থনা জানানোর জন্য বাইরের কোন ব্যক্তি প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন না।

সিঙ্গাপুর থেকে বাংলাদেশে আসতে হলে ১২ বছরের বেশি বয়সী যাত্রীগণকে ফ্লাইট ছাড়ার পূর্ববর্তী সর্বোচ্চ ৭২ ঘন্টার মধ্যে করোনা পরীক্ষা করাতে হবে এবং নেগেটিভ সনদ থাকতে হবে। করোনা টিকা নেয়া না থাকলে বাসায় যেয়ে ১৪ দিন কোয়ারেন্টাইনে থাকতে হবে। বিমানবন্দরে পৌঁছানোর পর করোনার লক্ষণ দেখা গেলে যাত্রীকে সরকার
নির্ধারিত হোটেলে নিজ খরচে কোয়ারেন্টাইন থাকতে হবে।
