Ovijatri travel club is an adventure club which runs under the supervision of the teacher of Zoology department of JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY. It is functioned by a group of student of Zoology department. Its aim is to explore the country and observe its historical places and biologically significant areas. The club is providing opportunity to the student to explore the country and learn about it. iodiversity of this country is very rich. But gradually our local fauna is destroying. Lack of knowledge about the local animal cause the harm. Conscious effort can do. It is high time, we need to do something about our environment and animal. We believe that creating awareness about the beautiful creatures of the environment will help to save those creatures. If people will know about them, they will not do any harm to those animals. We have a lot of beautiful and amazing species in our country. But still some of them are unrevealed to the general people. Local people still don’t know that those species are how helpful to them. So creating awareness among the local about the animal visually will be fruitful. In this regard ovijatri is working and creating documentary film. A group of talented students are involving in this job. If this work runs for long time, it will be a great help for the survival of the wild animal of Bangladesh. Beside the untraveled historical and natural places will come in-front the local people in a innovative fasion.
