VISA APPLICATION CHECKLIST FOR
ITALY
PERSONAL DOCUMENTS
1. Current (valid for at least 6 months) and Old Passports
2. Two recent color photograph with white background (35 x 45mm)
3. Birth Certificate / National ID Card
4. Marriage certificate, children's birth certificates
PROFESSIONAL DOCUMENTS
1. Trade license, memorandum of article, VAT, IRC etc. (for Business Person)
2. No objection certificate from the employer granting leave for the specified period (for
employee)
3. Pay Slip, Salary Certificate (for Employees)
4. Visiting Card
5. Business Letter Head
6. GO and note verbal for official passport holders
FINANCIAL DOCUMENTTS
1. Bank Statement (personal or business) showing consistent history for a period of last 6
months (recent)
2. Bank Solvency Certificate
3. Copies of documents showing other funds available- such as FDR, Saving
Certificates, share statement etc. (if available)
4. Asset Valuation Papers (if available)
5. Income Tax Certificate.
OVERSEAS DOCUMENTS
1. Personal Invitation letter
2. For business visit: Business Invitation letter, memorandum of article of inviting company,
Italian ID card/passport copy of invitee
OTHERS
1. Travel Health Insurance
2. School Leave letter & ID Card Copy for Student
