The Cancha Market offers an experience unlike any market found in Europe or North America. It is a massive, bustling place filled with a vast array of products, services, sights, sounds, and smells. It is also a key cultural center in Bolivia with a rich history, and it provides a great glimpse into the way many Bolivians work, shop, eat, and go about their day. Our tour gives visitors a chance to
weave through the Cancha and take it all in. Adam, our guide, has the unique perspective of a North American who has lived and worked in Bolivia for several years, and a passion for helping people experience other cultures in ways that are enriching for everyone involved. Our tours are available in both English and Spanish on Wednesday and Saturday mornings (the two market days). The tour covers most of the market, is tailored to suit people's interests, and generally lasts 2-3 hours. We can meet you at your hotel or hostel and take you to the Cancha on foot, in public transit, or in taxi.
