While most of our fish are special in their own ways, my last trip to our Jaguar Camp on the Upper Essequibo in Guyana a couple weeks ago produced three more special than before.
The Payara made me think he was a Catfish, the Peacock Bass stunned me with its beautiful coloration and blue tail/dorsal fins, and the Red Pacu because I caught him on ultralight tackle with only 10lbs line.
I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it, 'Expect The Unexpected' ............

We include:

We are now taking bookings for season 2023/2024 for our all-inclusive Giant Peacock Bass trips in Amazonas, Brazil.

HEADWATERS GIANT PEACOCK BASS TRIPS - BRAZIL
Back in October on one of our Headwaters Giant Peacock Bass trip in Brazil, friends and guest anglers Josh Duckworth and Ray Heisler were 'allowed out' fishing together for one day only while their wives went their separate ways!!
The boys did good, catching (and losing) some giants. Most of their fish came on Klure minnows and Stevie Stinger Peacock Bass Jigs, with this one caught on a jig.
