WriteNow! Handwriting Summer Camp

Aim to promote and improve the fine motor and eye hand coordination for a child's functional development, if motor difficulties negatively impact the skill of handwriting. SESSION STARTS JULY 3, 2012
FOR 4 WEEKS IN 2 SECTIONS (A & B)
TUES/WED/THU
A: 900am - 1200pm
B: 100pm - 400pm

Designed for children:
- Pre-K/K - 2nd grade (3-7 years)
- Who are able to participate and follow simpl

directions in a group setting
- Who experience fine motor difficulties in
relation to drawing, coloring, and holding
crayons or writing utensils appropriately

Daily schedule includes:
- Structured group station with themed
activities
- Rotating mini groups for letter instruction
- 1:2 therapist/counselor-to-child ratio, table-top
guided instruction
- Letter instruction via group activity
conducted by therapist/counselor
- Snack: Fine motor creations
- Group letter practice
- Workbook practice
- Group closing activity
- Distribution/discussion of home activities
