Chele la pass is high mountain pass at elevation of (3988m) sea level , in Bhutan connecting Paro valley to the Haa Valley. It provides stunning scenery and is common site for prayer flags. The colourful flags often hung at high mountain passes to bless the surrounding, promoting harmony, peace, and good fortune in Vajrayana Buddhism. Mt. Jomolhari(7326m), also known as Chomolhari with the poetic expression used to describe the beauty and grace for certain peaks although it is not widely recognised it is sometimes known as ‘Bride of kangchenjunga or ‘Bride of Himalayas’ while Chele la offers a spectacular views of Mt. Jomolhari and its surrounding mountains.
