Travel by vehicle to Dochula Pass, which sits at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. If the weather is clear, you'll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking snow-capped Himalayas from this vantage point. At the pass summit, you can explore 108 memorial chortens and observe clusters of fluttering prayer flags. While taking in the scenery, you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee at the cafeteria. Additionally, there are ample open spaces for children to hike and appreciate nature.

🙏🌹Update on the Activities of Goem Gongma, in Neyphu, Paro Bhutan. Goem Gongma is the Ancestral home of Lama G in Neyphu -meaning upper temple, it has been operating by his family for countless generations, and currently supported by Cypress Himalaya and our guests as a refuge and retreat since 2014.

🙏🌹For the month of April, 2024. Our return guests Ellen and David are sponsoring this month's Tsok offering at Neyphu's Goem Gongma. On April 22-23, the temple will be performing the annual puja whereby hundreds of families and individuals who regard Goem Gongma as their ancestral temple, will come throughout the day and night to make their aspirations, offering their tidings, for the temple blessings. Some come as far as the Highlands of Laya down to Neyphu for the yearly rituals.

Tsok allows one to accumulate a vast amount of merit, accumulated 100,000 times, and to purify any broken vows or commitments (samaya).

Our guests from the US brought down the house so to say, and stayed in the main temple at Tiger’s Nest reciting the Sadana of Mahamudra late into the afternoon. They descended as the last group of pilgrims on a exquisitely pristine and beautiful day in April.
