Snakes and Honey

Do you wish to go out camping but are traumatised by the thought of snakes & reptiles?

Fear not 😃

To flush out the snake, just light a whole paper soaked in honey and place it in the middle of the living room and open the door, and wherever the snake is hiding in the house, it will come out urgently and you'll end up with it outside.

The smell of burnt honey is a nightmare for all dangerous reptiles.

Tips for Roadtripping in Botswana💃

1)Malaria: during the rainy months, it’s advisable to take precautions.
2)Allow longer time for travel than you would normally. Slowing down for animals and sometimes potholes is time-consuming. Note: If an animal is lifting its head (as opposed to grazing), it’s likely that it may want to cross the road. There is a possibility one can see elephants crossing the road while traveling from Nata to Kasane.
3)Speed limits are very strictly enforced. Be vigilant.
4) Don’t drive at night – with animals it’s extremely dangerous.
5) People expect to be greeted before you take a photograph, 'Dumelang' with a smile does the trick.
6)The roads can be long and straight. Stay alert and be sure to swap drivers.
7)Facilities such as toilets, food stops etc. can be limited, so come prepared.
