Shato Guineafowls was established on August 2012, after noticing the opportunity in the guineafowl market. Kasane is a tourist destination and thus, tourists from all over the world come to explore the delicacies of Africa. stance of the Department of Youth Botswana, Shato, the founder, was able to acquire the necessary stock, machinery and marketing initiatives. Shato guineafowls intends to be the biggest supplier of poultry meat in Chobe. In stock we currently have Tswana chickens,ducks and orpingtons. As a youth who has been empowered by the government, Shato has employed other youth in an attempt to contribute to the alarming unemployment rate in Botswana (20% as of 2015) and thus demonstrate Shato Guineafowls contribution to the social welfare of the region.
