Okavango District Council was upgraded from sub-district to a fully fledged independent District on the 23rd of December 2022. Mzilikazi Way Safaris management had the opportunity to deliberate on the day's proceedings of the first of its kind Tourism Pitso held at Maun Lodge yesterday. The Pitso which is aimed at developing tourism for the benefit of the Okavango community was held under the theme "Building self sufficient communities. "
