Hi everyone,

Just a quick update from the field: The Cayo Steel Works team has been working hard to stabilise the ground so their truck can offload the steel beams for the frame.

Following Hurricane Beryl, there has been lots of heavy rain, making the ground quite wet and unstable. The cement truck from a month ago had churned up the ground.

It’s always impressive to see how quickly vegetation grows in the tropics. Look how quickly the grass has grown in less than a month!

Every day is a step closer and we’re making progress. Stay tuned for more updates. ᖭི༏ᖫྀ

Thinking of the community. Hurricane Beryl is approaching the Caribbean and the latest projections show it might pass Belize, heading towards the Gulf Coast. However, you could still experience some heavy winds. Keeping my fingers crossed that you won’t be impacted. 🤞

Week 3 is done and our team is making great progress. Today, Gustavo, our architect, will inspect the site to ensure everything is ready for the next step: casting and pouring the concrete foundation.
