AN ANCIENT TRADITION
The Maya learned to grow, harvest, ferment, dry, roast, grind, sweeten, drink and eat chocolate using handmade tools from nature. They created several cold and hot drinks from the cacao beans. Sometimes spices, ground corn and flower petals were added to create a healthy-type of porridge that gave them unequalled strength and stamina. STEP BACK IN TIME AT “ELADIO’S FARM.”
