After a fun filled (rainy) weekend in Vancouver, we woke up early to watch our ship pull in 🛳️

If you know me, you know I love all things fall and Halloween so I am SO excited for this.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is back on select dates between August 9th-October 31st 2024. Tickets will be released on May 8th for guests staying onsite at a Disney resort and May 15th for all other guests.

The dates for 2024 are:

August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

***Foodie Friday***

Today I want to highlight one of my top dining requests from clients: Cinderella’s Royal Table ✨ at Magic Kingdom

My girls absolutely LOVED this experience, being able to eat inside of the castle and meet several of the princesses (without waiting in lines!) was well worth it. You meet Cinderella upon entering the castle and several other princesses come around to your table as you eat (on our visit it was Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine and Merida but this can vary).

The reviews on the food tend to be pretty mixed but we all agreed that we really enjoyed our breakfast.

I book all the dining for my clients, save yourself having to get up at 6am and let me do the work for you 😉

Foodie Friday!!!

Today I want to feature Boathouse at Disney Springs - which is our absolute favourite restaurant on Disney property! We go every trip.

It’s an upscale waterfront restaurant featuring a surf ‘n’ turf menu. The location is beautiful and the food is DELICIOUS! My girls loved that they served the kids meals in a cardboard amphicar.

My husband gets the ribeye every time and swears it’s one of best steaks he’s ever had. I’m not a fan of steak but I love the crab cakes (they are huge, great to share), firecracker shrimp and shrimp & andouille mac and cheese.

The Duck Duck Razz drink came with a little rubber ducky - and if you have kids that are like mine (that fight over everything) you can buy additional rubby duckies in the attached gift shop. We find the drinks to be generous in the alcohol department so be aware of that 😂

*Foodie Friday*

I’ve decided to showcase a different restaurant/quick service location every Friday! I’m only going to choose places that I have personally visited and enjoyed.

I’m going to be honest - eating is an important part of vacationing to me 😂 I love to try new places.

Minion Cafe is a quick service restaurant located in Universal Studios Florida that serves lunch and dinner. The theming and attention to detail is INCREDIBLE! We arrived before the lunch rush so it was very quiet and we got to explore all the different rooms and fun decor before settling on a spot to eat. Our table was actually a useable foosball table. How fun is that??! The food was super cute and tasty (though what we ordered was a bit on the “heavy” side, we definitely didn’t eat for a long time after 😂) They do have lighter options available so I would go that route in the future!

This is a must do for any minion loving family!

This tropical oasis features multiple slides, a huge wave pool, a lazy river and water play areas for young children

In honour of 2025 Disney World packages being released today as well as the added new perk, I’m going to be sharing a bit of info about Disney’s two water parks 💦

If you missed the perk I posted about yesterday - in 2025, if you stay on-site at a Disney resort you can get free admission to a Disney waterpark on your arrival day.

Today I’m focusing on Blizzard Beach 🏖️

This frosty fun waterpark features 7 water slides, a chairlift, kiddie play area, lazy river and wave pool - there is much to do to keep you busy! There is no better way to cool off on a hot summer day at Walt Disney World!

Disney doesn’t only have fun activities for kids 😉

At the suggestion of a coworker, we tried out the Sangria University at Coronado Springs Resort and let me tell you…it was a blast!

Our teacher was hilarious and in addition to tasting 4 of their sangrias, we got to invent our own at the end.

I made a PB&J “sangria” which I know sounds odd but it was SO GOOD.

On our most recent visit to Disney we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in a Royal themed room. I LOVED this resort - it has such a serene and beautiful atmosphere. Plus it has horse carriage rides (extra cost), a boat to Disney Springs and it’s a quick walk to French Quarter to enjoy some Beignets.

Day Four!

Okay so I got super behind on these posts - Day four was actually last Thursday 😂

We returned to Universal Studios to watch some of the shows we missed and eat at the new-ish minion cafe (soooo cute!).

*Do NOT skip the shows!* I know rides/Harry Potter lands are usually the priority but Universal has some AMAZING shows.

Two of my faves were the Horror Makeup Show (so funny) and the Bourne Stuntacular (waaaay cooler than I was expecting).

The shows are also a great way to take a break from the heat or to just be able to sit for half an hour!

Day Three

Today was such a fun day! We started the day on our own bus and got to tour different Universal resorts to check out the facilities and rooms. We spent the afternoon in the classroom learning all we could about Universal Orlando and its products.

This was all followed by team building activities, games and a group dinner. Feeling lucky to work with such a great group ❤️ I love when we get to be together in person!
