Disney Tips #1 We drove twice within a 7 month span. I definitely prefer to take my time. The first time we did two over night stays along the way. The second time we drive it straight through. I would never drive straight through again! It’s pricier because you need to pay for hotels, but so worth it. Driving through the night was awful. I’m not a big fan of driving on highways in general. I thought it would be better when there was less traffic and driving through the night would be a cinch. It was pitch black and I was driving on a winding road through the mountains. There was a wind advisory that high profile vehicles may tip. It was pretty nerve racking. Jeff can’t sleep well in the car and I’m a nervous driver. He did most of the driving but then I needed to stay away to make sure he stayed away. Overall NOT FUN the second time around.
