Hi everyone! I’m Amanda, the proud owner of The Cooper's Inn, and I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes glimpse with you today. Here I am, doing one of my favorite things – getting breakfast ready for our wonderful guests! 🥞☕️

I left a career in the nonprofit sector to live my dream of owning a B&B, and it’s been the most rewarding adventure. Every day, I get to meet amazing people from all over the world and introduce them to this wonderful part of Nova Scotia and community I care a lot about.

One of the highlights of my day is seeing the smiles on our guests' faces as they enjoy a homemade breakfast, made with love. Whether it's our famous waffles, eggs benedict, or a fresh pot of coffee, I pour my heart into every meal.

I can’t wait to welcome you to The Cooper's Inn and make your stay truly memorable. Come join us for breakfast!

The first Barrington Farmers Market of 2024 is this coming weekend!

So our first market is this weekend and the line up of vendors looks FANTASTIC !
Posting that tomorrow but first a slight hiccup and a venue change as they do a bit of work on our parking lot to get it out of the way.
This week, You will see us at the Sherose Island Ball Field on the right as you come up the hill.

FYI for residents of Barrington Municipality!

Starting next week, we will be moving to a two-bag system for recycling. This means that paper products will have to be placed in one blue bag and the remaining recyclables in a second blue bag.

This is being done as the processing facility that accepts our recyclables is now requiring that paper be kept separate from other recyclables and we are preparing for once Nova Scotia moves to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in 2025.

Enforcement of this new requirement will not take place until the summer to give you time to adjust to the new guidelines. We understand that change isn't always easy, but your cooperation during this transition period will be greatly appreciated.
