What an incredible venue the is to decorate (and can we take a moment to mention the awesome staff- seriously amazing to work with)!

This winter wonderland theme was an absolute pleasure to curate. This decor theme we designed at , was full of sparkling crystals, warm wintern lanterns, clear ghost chairs, complete with a glowing bar + cruiser tables from and sparkling + satin linens from ! Thanks to for the fantastic lighting!!

Also thank you to the organizers of this event for having us. We loved bringing the vision to life + letting our creativity flow!

🍸 Feeling a bit mischievous this holiday season? 🎄 Unleash your inner Grinch with this festive martini in both alcoholic + non alcoholic versions + mix up a concoction that's as delightful as it is daring. !

Non-Alcoholic Grinch Martini:
Ingredients:

2 parts Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1 Part Pineapple Juice or Orange Juice
1 Part Frozen Yellow Lemonade Concentrate, Thawed
2 Parts Sprite (or any Lemon-Lime Soda)
Ice
Cherry or Fruit Flavoured Candy Cane for Garnish
Red Sanding Sugar or Red Confectionery Sprinkles for Glass Rim

Alcoholic Grinch Martini Ingredients:
1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz Rum
1/2 oz Midori
3 oz Pineapple Juice or Orange Juice
Top With Sprite or Any Lemon-Lime Soda
2 oz Simple Syrup
Cherry or Fruit Flavoured Candy Cane for Garnish
Red Sanding Sugar or Red Confectionery Sprinkles for Glass Rim

Pour liquid ingredients into a shaker with ice + stir. Rim martini glass with sanding sugar + pour liquid into martini glass. Garnish with holiday cheer + serve!

In the 'spirit' of this haunting holiday, we wanted to share this spooktacular cocktail recipe that we made using some local ingredients from our friends at !

🧙‍♀️ Brew Recipe 🎃
Sugar rim your glass (we like martini glasses, but any glass will do).
In a shaker with ice pour in the following mixture:
1 Oz of Blue Curacao
A dash of lime cordial
3 Oz cranberry juice
1/2 Oz of Amethyst Spirit from (it's perfectly purple )
1 Oz of Cassis from Elora Distilling Co.
Shake, strain + pour into your glass.
Top with sparkling lemonade to finish.
If you want added spookiness, you can add some dripping grenadine around the glass rim.

To make it just as magical but without the alcohol, mix cranberry juice, blue curacao syrup from Monin, + a dash of lime cordial over ice in your shaker. Strain into your cup and add the sparkling lemonade to finish.

The answer is simply that we set out to offer some of the best beverage + culinary tours in the Highway 21 area. So essentially, our company is named after an awesome highway that runs alongside the shores of Lake Huron!

The beach is that way ..."

We've been asked a lot lately about why we head to the Lake Huron area for our wine tours?

One thing we love is that Huron Shores is considered one of the hottest emerging wine regions in the province and as a bonus, there's no QEW traffic on route. But one of our favourite reasons to take guests west...the beautiful soft sand beach is there right along the shores of Lake Huron!
In between tour stops, we like to take guests for a beach photoshoot or plan a helicopter tour at sunset over Lake Huron!
Did we mention the turquoise waters, world famous sunsets and overall tropical vibes?

"Partners in Wine" ...(+ craft beer, cider, culinary delights, event management + curated experiences to name a few things)!

We're coming up close to a year since we left our corporate careers to venture into the world of entrepreneurship as the founders of !
So, we figured it was about time to reintroduce ourselves.

We are Christina + Teri, proud owners, operators, planners, chauffeurs, marketers + curators of all things 21 Tours + Events Co.

Almost a year ago, we decided it was time to go after our dreams + take a risk starting our curated tours + experience company. We looked at locations + decided the beach is the best way to go! So we set out west towards the Bluewater Highway, also known at Highway 21. (Fun fact: our company is named after Highway 21). On route, we found one of the most exciting, emerging wine + craft beverage regions in Ontario (we'll tell you more about that in a couple days).

We've learned a lot on the way + made many new friends.
We've also gotten to know each other even better after spending hours + hours working on our vision for 21 Tours + Events Co.

Here are some of the fun facts we've learned about each other:

Teri's favourite movie series of all time is Jurassic Park. Her eyes are really truly green. She's never tried coffee, ever (but she lives on Redbull)
She was the basketball shoot-out champion for her school in grade 8!

Christina's elbows hyper-extend backwards, her eyes are grey blue with brown rings around the pupils, she learned she can do the worm in her mid-thirties, she was once dropped off a 200ft cliff in a rescue basket attached to two firemen for a news story.

We're certain that this next year will bring more insider info as we continue to build on our dreams of having one of the most exciting tour + events company in South Western Ontario!

As if we couldn't use that quote for this post about the Chefs' Gourmet Dinner in support of !

We were delighted to be the official decorator partner for this amazing cause. The theme was 'April Showers'. So we went bright + bold with rainbow colours!

With over 300 guests in attendance, many of the Region of Waterloos top chefs curating delicous culinary delights, dozens of volunteers, this event was truly a huge success.

Also a huge shout out to the volunteers, it is because of you that so many children in this area will benefit from tonight's efforts!
