We had the pleasure of hosting the Ford V8 Car Club today. Their cars reminded us of the movie , “Thunder Road” starring Robert Mitchum who drove a 1950 Ford. However , unlike Mitchum’s cars there was no moonshine in these that we know of. It was a dry run! We enjoyed meeting them!

Buzz Beurling was a top Canadian Spitfire Ace who pretty much saved Malta in WW2. He certainly didn’t get the recognition he deserved in Canada.
We had the pleasure of meeting his brother and nephew when they came for a tour. They gave me permission to put Buzz’s name and credentials on the cockpit of my Spitfire. His story is absolutely amazing !
