Went out for a night hike with a great group of people Friday night. We had a nice fire up at the top of Mesa Butte. Was a great way to regroup after a rough week of heart break.

Can I just say that I love my 100-400mm lense. I don’t always bring it with me out on hikes because it’s big and heavy but when I do I’m always so happy with the results of the photos I can get with it.

Been thinking about this shot for a week or so. I wanted to compress the bridge and building closer together so I shot with a telephoto lens and took 9 images to stitch together to create this image of the Peace Bridge in Calgary.
