Hey there songwriting and music lovers I just saw on the 6pm news about the unbelievable bridge collapse in Baltimore. Please know if any of you or your friends or worse, your family are affected by this, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hit me up on a private message if you need to vent or chat. The phrase “every picture tells a story, don’t it” is likely familiar to many or even all. This was the first track on side A but was the third release from the album with the same name in 1971. It’s been a phrase that always conjures up great memories of youth and my cassettes of Rod Stewart.
He along with Billy Joel, Elton John and more recently Keith Green, have been familiar choices for my longer drives or days in the studio when just chilling and organizing other projects or data files.
As a composition artist, my goal is to create a musical experience allowing the top liner, the lyric writer to create their work and reveal their ideas through a creative medium accordingly.
This track really took me to regions and musical genres unfamiliar to me but I was learning and making great connections with others through this experience.
I think this might have been one of the longest cowrites but was certainly one of the most memorable and positive.
The vocal stylings of the amazing Rinjamin Button are perfectly executed and her lyrics are going to be a very powerful and unique addition in to your musical journey.
