Hi everyone, I am excited to come to Calgary and to do a talk on how to help you plan and save money on your one year trip. Here are some topics we will cover:

- Budgeting for a one year trip around the world
- Traveling to many countries vs staying in a few countries
- Using Points and Miles to reduce the cost of flights and accommodations
- How to utilize budget airlines to save money on fli

- How to utilize cheap and free accommodation channels
- How to travel in style by obtaining hotel status
- How to utilize other modes of transportation

I've been saving up money and planning a one year trip myself. I plan on departing this September 2016. I will talk about how I am planning my one year trip just to give you an example of how to do it yourself. If you don't plan on traveling for a year, at least you'll have a general guide you can use to plan your travel. I will also be doing a quick pitch at the end of the talk about my blog. Please bring $20 to the presentation (the money doesn't go to me). $15 will go to the restaurant to pay for an appetizer buffet and $5 will be donated to Ride to Conquer Cancer charity funds.
