Boaters, kayakers, and paddlers in the St. Lawrence Estuary, this message is for you! If a beluga approaches your boat, the right thing to do is to stay on course and slowly move away until you reach a distance of 400m. This distance is mandatory! The presence of boats in beluga habitat is disturbing for the species. Belugas need space and calm to thrive in their natural environment.

Team Canada takes the Silver medal in Women’s Rugby at Paris 2024! 🥈

PEI’s Alysha Corrigan scored a try off an interception during the first half that put Team Canada in the lead heading into the second. While in the end they couldn’t beat New Zealand, this is the best result Team Canada has ever had in Olympic Rugby.

The theme of last day’s visit is PEI’s specials. It was a great experience to take your own potato and witness how they were served on the table. The history of fur industry is also insightful to know.

Another exciting day to observe birds of PEI. Visiting Long Pond and Greenwich, we found 10 species, including Osprey, blue jay and Yellow Warbler. Thank professor for sharing his knowledge about Atlantic birds. What a great day!

What a wonderful day in understanding the Salmon migration and rehabilitation work in PEI. Our guest, who is a professor from Hong Kong, also studied the freshwater and seashore ecology here!
