Our last weekend of summer just booked today, too! Weekdays will be filling quickly as the warm weather approaches and these black flies die off 🦟

We are also looking forward to some upgrades to take place during early June ✌🏽 big news to follow 😉

In the meantime, remaining dates for June are set to $155 per night (plus fees), … just cuz 💁🏼‍♀️. So treat your dads to a night out and a round of golf at one of our local clubs.

Last minute march break block opening!

March 8-13! Fri sat $157 per night. Sun Mon tues $135 per night.

Our weekend guests sadly had to cancel and prioritize funds for unexpected vet bills, and our sun-tues guests just rebooked different days 😉

We are still ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and offering our hot tub and sauna!

The latest from our family day weekend guests 🤗

Gearing up for our 3 week same day turnover stretch and looking forward to each and every one of you!

An update on our rink - the weather has absolutely kicked our butts on this. We likely could have had a solid attempt last week, however, our family was called to witness a special 98 year young roll model in our lives complete the transition from earth side back to spirit world and came full circle on Valentines Day. Many of her words of wisdom came into completing much of the renovations done in this space, and we just know that despite our rink, you’ll still enjoy your time here - as well as the other rinks that are completed in town.

For those that will be staying with us, please let us know your comfort level on our attendance to complete our outdoor space once and for all. We understand this is your vacation time and respect your decline and request for privacy. We are committed to putting our efforts forward between turnovers when possible and again, weather permitting. But sometimes, those clear evenings are key 😉

Guess what weekend recently opened up 🙌🏽🙈

Our annual “ON THE POND” pond hockey tournament, this year, in memory of our late friend Matt Foley.

Only a 5 min drive from all the action at the wharf, or two minutes by sled down the bay. Enjoy a full kitchen, 2 person sauna, fire pit, BBQ, private rink (weather permitting), and more privacy than a hotel can offer while accommodating your whole team.

I guess we’ve never actually shown off the view from the front door have we 🙈

Here it is. No street lights. No traffic. No unnecessary noise. Just this. A bunch of deer, and some awesome star gazing at our currently snowed in fire pit. Can you believe this is 2km out of town and actually the end of the Main Street of Gravenhurst? Never worry about getting stuck down wild cottage roads and a 2 hour CAA wait, or $65+ cab rides home.

Just Check out that lit side yard for our soon to be skate rink too 😍 All string lights are a quick unplug away for total dark sky preserve.

I’m probably never going to stop posting this.

ANYONE IN NEED, PLEASE REACH OUT FOR A SAFE PLACE TO STAY!

We had guests check out today so we haven’t had a chance to remake the beds and reset the house, But there are fresh linens ready, and non perishables in the cupboard. Thankfully, the driveway was also just plowed out.

Please send us a DM so we can at least get you off the road and somewhere safe for the night. It’s wild out there. It was a 2 hour drive home from Torrence.

If anyone is stuck in this wild storm in the Muskoka area, more specifically Gravenhurst, and needing somewhere safe for the night, we have availability TONIGHT! We have someone checking in tomorrow afternoon but if this helps someone, here’s the link below, (also found in our bio). Our rates are reduced but the cleaning fee is set, but we can adjust them when an inquiry is made. Afterwards we just send you a timed code just for you.

Today, I can’t help but think about someone our community lost recently and paid tribute to today. I walked into this space, looked up, and said thank you.

It happened 🙌🏽

Thank you for all of your support! We are so taken back by the difference a year makes! This time last year we were moving piles of rough cut wood planks around the house, sorting which ones were ready for the plainer, which ones needed ice chipped away, and which ones were dry to put up 😂 all while friends came to the rescue to work over head on weekends after tirelessly working a full work week. We are forever grateful.

Because we know the struggle all so well of what January can bring, We’ve reduced our January rates right down to celebrate the new year and host a change of scenery for those who may need it most. All remaining dates now $129!

With the beginning of a new year among us and changes on our minds of how to better our future, has partnered up with to brainstorm ideas on how to offer and promote a successful 2024 for not just guests and clients, but for our community and fellow local business owners we all know and love.

SANTA UPDATE:

What a year! Holy smokes 2023! This time last year, we were beside ourselves in a pile of unfinished renovation mess and financial stress. New Year’s Eve we were reminded of the unbelievably kind support crew we have, regained what little motivation we had left, and kept going. June we launched. 3 weeks later we became premier hosts on . July we were fully booked for the entire summer except 1 day. September and October remained steady. November still surprised us. Here we are - December. The holiday season. Reminiscing on the year passed. Still receiving confirmed bookings, and kind reviews from guests along the way. We are so excited to announce, by January 2024, we will be under review for Superhost and we are confident that with our current stats, we’ll be successful.

So, With all this celebrating going on, we’ve cut our rates knowing that there’s tons of others out there celebrating this time of year in town too.

SNOW DAY ☃️

Got out of bed, noticed the skies were clear, hopped in the car and drove to town to capture those starry skies we’ve been bragging about at

Lake photos taken down the road from the house. West view with ability to pan north to south.

House photos taken with most lights off, except the mini Xmas tree, and the pretty amazing glow of string lights in the back yard.

Turning the lights off was in no way necessary to see them with the naked eye. The camera was just picking up too much 💁🏼‍♀️

Just wait until you see this with a fresh blanket of snow and a full moon 👌🏽
