As the saying goes, you can’t put toothpaste back in the tube. And that aptly describes the internet and the rise of social media. It cannot be undone.

The internet can’t be ‘uncreated,’ and social media can’t be stopped. It can be delayed and temporarily controlled, but even the most totalitarian regimes find themselves unable to completely control the flow of information the internet and social media platforms make possible.
