Our Story

Danny and Debbie Almon have owned AlmonTravel since May 2003. They have successfully helped thousands of clients to arrange and enjoy their travel plans, from Caribbean resort stays to destination weddings (over 130 couples), from Florida Disney Vacations to ocean cruises and river cruises (one of their specialties) all over the world. They have been able to offer excellent personal service in an industry where service is increasingly disappearing. When you call AlmonTravel, you get the same dedicated agent you have been dealing with, one who knows your file and circumstances, not someone who happens to be on duty at the time. They work with you to ensure that you pick the right vacation and that, when your travel is over, you will be left with a delightful recollection of your journey. Danny and Debbie have excellent relationships with all travel suppliers, knowing many of the reps on a first name basis – this is helpful if there are any concerns that go beyond what the contract stipulates.

When they travel to the Caribbean they make arrangements to meet with resort executives to thoroughly inspect a variety of fine resorts to get a good sense of what each has to offer – equally valuable to those simply looking for the most suitable resort for a Caribbean vacation.

They personally like to experience the destinations they sell, whether it be a river cruise on one of the 10 different itineraries they’ve enjoyed around the world (such as the Mekong, the Nile, the Mississippi and various European itineraries), ocean cruises to popular destinations (such as Hawaii, Alaska, the Mediterranean, the UK), Caribbean area countries (such as Jamaica, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Saint Lucia), Northern Italy, England and South Africa.
