When will the leaves change colour on Cape Breton Island? 🍂🍁 It’s the #1 question we get asked at this time of the year!

The peak dates are impossible to predict but, typically our peak season for colour ranges between October 10th - 23rd with still some colour after their peak times before the leaves fall. Those beautiful fall colours arrive at different times across the Island so, we have created an infographic to help guide you in your planning!

ICYMI: The Jajiktek Seawall Trail Design & Construction Request for Proposals is in market!

Once completed, the Seawall Trail will run for roughly 50 km along the spectacular, rugged Cape Breton coastline. It will be the only multi-day coastal hike of its kind along the Eastern Seaboard of North America. Day hike options will also be available.

The opportunity seeks proposals from experienced hiking trail design and construction firms to finalize the design and alignment of the Jajiktek Seawall Hiking Trail system

I hope our guests and everyone enjoyed their long weekend .
I also hope they took my suggestion and sat on the beach and enjoyed the sunset 🌅 at Pleasant Bay Harbour Beach.
That’s how we ended the long weekend 🙂
