Canadians will be well represented on PGA Tour in 2022

No less than 6 Canadians are guaranteed to have regular status on the 2022 PGA Tour. Four Canadians retained their PGA Tour cards after the final putt of today's Wyndham Championship. Corey Connors (28), Mackenzie Hughes (67), Roger Sloan (92) and Adam Hadwin (96) will both advance to the 2021 FedEx Cup playoffs that start next week and retain their PGA Tour cards for next year. Joining them will be Taylor Pendrith & Adam Svensson who are among the top 25 from the Korn Ferry Tour who have earned their 2022 PGA Tour cards. Sloan moved from 138th place to 92nd place with his T2 performance at the Wyndham Championship today. Sloan lost in a 6-man playoff today to eventual winner Kevin Kisner.

Canadian Nick Taylor (141) will have "limited status" on the 2022 PGA Tour (10-15 tournaments) but can still gain his 2022 tour card along with Canadians Michael Glicic (145) & David Hearn (163) as they have both qualified for the 2021 Korn Ferry playoffs based on their final standings on the 2021 PGA Tour. All in all, Canada could have 9 regular players on the 2022 PGA Tour. Go Canada!
