On Saturday August 24 we had beautiful weather for our sold-out fundraiser, "An Elegant Black & White Evening". We were treated to delicious food and live music by Alfie Zappacosta, Vickie Van D**e, Kris and Jorge at a beautiful lakefront home.

We raised over $5,000 for the Biosphere and are extremely grateful to our hosts, Vickie Van D**e and Pam Davis for all their hard work organizing this amazing event.

Thanks also to everyone who attended the event, bought raffle and win/win tickets and auction items. Your support is essential to our important environmental work on the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula.

A huge thank you to Jenna McGuire for hosting our final Field Trip of the summer on Aug 24. We learned all about Bruce Peninsula geology during "A Day at the Beach: The Geological Wonders of Black Creek Provincial Park". We had perfect weather for our visit!

Also a special thank you to the many Biosphere members who joined us on the trek. We hope you will join us again next year.

EcoAdventures‘ Summer House Forest Escape is back! Starting July 13, bookings will once again be available for this family favorite, in which participants crack codes, find clues, and race against the clock to solve an exciting mystery. Escape rooms will run at Summer House Park on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, or by request.

All proceeds go towards BPBA environmental conservation projects.

The Biosphere Association, in collaboration with the Municipality’s Climate Action and Waste Diversion Committee, will offer a workshop designed to answer your questions about heat pumps. This initiative is one step towards implementing our community’s Climate Action Plan.
