Here is an amazing story from one of our clients. ✈️☕️🌎
My name is Michael Gonzalez, I was born here in Montreal, but my parents immigrated from Costa Rica. After I finished my masters in law at Mcgill University and got myself a steady job,my parents decided it was time for them to move back home. This was 4 years ago. I missed my parents so much but I never seemed to find the time to go and visit them. Now I have met the love of my life, we have been together for the past 2 years. Our trip home was actually a coincidence, Rachel and I were just having a nice walk in the old port when we stumbled on to this cute cafe. When we went inside and ordered a drink we were looking at all the photos and stories posted on the wall. When we saw a picture of the La Paz Waterfall in Costa Rica, we spontaneously decided to book a trip right then and there to go and visit my parents. This was perfect because it’s the perfect occasion for Rachel to meet them as well as for me do ask her the big question “will you marry me?”. Sarah and Elisabeth were awesome and booked us the whole trip, they also met with me in secret to help me organise the perfect moment to ask Rachel for her hand in marriage. We left for two weeks in May, when we arrived my parents were right there to welcome us. We stayed at my dad’s childhood home, it was awesome to see where he grew up. Mom and Dad loved Rachel, this made me even sure I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. I remembered Sarah and Elisabeth telling us about the incredible falls close to my parents town, i arranged it with my parents and we went on a day trip to see what is now the most memorable place of my life. We had a blast went swimming in the lake next to the falls and after a nice family picnic, on the little wooden bridge i got down on my knee and asked Rachel to marry me. To which she jumped in my arms crying and said yes.
