Today I am doing a bit of a throwback since Facebook is reminding me it's been 2 years since I visited Curaçao.....I have been oh so lucky enough to check out a ton of beaches in CANADA, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Jamaica, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, United States (15+ in Florida and California). As a self proclaimed beach bum I have to say that Groto Knip (and many other beaches) on the western side of the Caribbean island of Curaçao was one of the most WOWworthy and peaceful ones for me😍 Whether you are visiting Curaçao for a holiday, for work, or stopping here on a cruise ship.. I recommend taking the one hour drive outside the island's capital Willimstad to visit the more hidden and most beautiful beaches on the island!!! Please note there is also so much more to Curaçao than beautiful beaches ( but that is all captured in an earlier review ☉)

Barbados.

There are many accomodation options but this little gem I just need to share!

Located next to the popular St. Lawrence Gap..an area with endless food/drink/entertainment options!

BOOK YOUR NEXT VACAY TO A PALACE..the RIO PALACE CABO SAN LUCAS!!

The Los Cabos region made up of Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo is one of the most beautiful and exclusive destinations in Mexico. Cabo San Lucas is located at the Southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in the Mexican State of Baja California Sur.

I recently spent five nights at the Rio Palace Cabo San Lucas. This was my 14th experience (gulp) at an all-inclusive property (Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico, Curaçao, St. Lucia and Costa Rica) and this particular property gets one of the highest rankings in my books!

This property was refurbished in 2016.

I am a sucker for a great view and the Riu Palace offers so many INCREDIBLE ones! This immuculate resort offers fantastic food, reservation free dining at à la carte restuarants, premium drinks, great service, two large infinity swimming pools, two smaller infinity swim up bars, free wifi, 24 hour room service, in room drink dispenser and the list goes on and on.....

The resort was sold out when I visited but the property is so large that it doesn't feel overcrowded (except maybe in the swim up bar --- but that just adds to the fun). This is very lively resort that offers fun for all ages!

Due to strong sea currents and powerful waves, swimming off the beach at the Riu Palace is not safe and is prohibited but the views make up for that!!! Also just a short walk down the beach will lead you to an area that is safe for swimming.

Packaged vacations for the Rio Palace Cabo San Lucas is available with Signature Vacations from Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon and Vancouver. Packages for Riu properites in other destinations are available from these and other Canadian departure points!!
