I love this story.
Tommy's Holiday Gift Drive 🎄
This holiday season, a little tree in front of the Cenotaph has captured the community's attention. Affectionately named Tommy, this tree may be small, but with your help, his story can grow big into one of generosity and holiday spirit!
Read the story of Tommy, discover why he’s so small, and see how the Town, alongside the General Nelles Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Niagara on the Lake Chamber of Commerce, Niagara on the Lake Public Library, and Niagara on the Lake Museum, is inviting you to show that even the smallest things can spark the biggest acts of kindness ➡️ https://loom.ly/CiQ2-KQ.
We’re collecting new, unwrapped children’s gifts until December 5. All donations will be gathered for a special photo under Tommy to showcase the BIG impact a little tree can have and to celebrate the generosity and community spirit of NOTL. Drop off your gifts during operating hours at these locations:
🎁 Town Hall (1593 Four Mile Creek Road)
🎁 Legion Branch 124 (410 King Street)
🎁 Chamber of Commerce (26 Queen Street)
🎁 Community Centre (14 Anderson Lane)
🎁 Public Library (10 Anderson Lane)
🎁 Museum (43 Castlereagh Street)
Gifts will be distributed to families in need through Newark Neighbours and the Niagara Regional Native Centre. Stay tuned for the special photo of Tommy surrounded by your incredible donations!
Let’s use Tommy’s story to help make this holiday season even brighter for those in need.
