A little spring photo dump here. When creating posts I often struggle to find descriptive words, or if perhaps I was a little more clever I'd come up with some philosophical play on words and the meaning of fly fishing. The only thing that comes to mind is simply.... "Awesome!"

What a whirl wind! After an amazing winter in Australia, and New Zealand, getting back to Ontario and scrambling to pull together spring guides, along spending more time on some different waters other than the Grand, all the hard work has paid off!

Back home now and going through some photos from our time in the southern hemisphere, although conditions kept us from dedicated flats time, with swollen rivers spewing mud over some of the best flats, Clint found lots of ways to keep my rod bent including this blue salmon!

I’m finding a very challenging, late season fishery here in New Zealand. Worked my butt off for this bow😁 6X and 7X tippet with size 20 mayflies.
