Perfectly suited for adult groups, ladies weekends, couples and family gatherings. We are loving it here in 'The County' and we are loving our home on Bridge Street. I've been coming here to Picton since I was a child to visit my family, so over those many years I have watched the growth that has happened here. I remember my cousin telling me about one of the first wineries. Now there are over 40

wineries and many breweries too. It used to be just about the beaches at the spectacular Sandbanks Park but now it is so much more than that. I have always been a lover of old homes but I had to convince my husband of this. He loves the area so much and was so on board with being a part of it that he let me fulfill my dream of owning a character filled home and now he loves it as much as I do! We have decided to offer our home part of the time as a vacation rental and to share this beautiful area and all it has to offer. We look forward to making your visit here to 'The White House on Bridge' and The County a first class experience. If you love food, wine, beer, shopping, beach life, and gorgeous scenery then it's time you visited. We are a lovely place to land at the end of a day on the 'Taste Trail' or at the beach. We look forward to seeing you!

Funny how life works. Signs signs everywhere a sign.... I've been wanting to do a black and white floor in the kitchen here at The White house. Today I came home with samples and they are laying on the floor as we speak. I just watched an episode of Fixer Upper and guess what Joanna Gaines just did in one of their renos?

Barn Quilt Trail - Prince Edward County, Ontario

When we started touring around the county years ago, we noticed these beautiful quilts on some of the homes and barns in around the area. We came to learn they are called Barn Quilts and there is a Barn Quilt Trail where you can get out and about and see this unique form of rural art. All in the name of research... wink wink. What do you do on a sunny Saturday afternoon when you have a visit from your bestie and you realize that you've known each other 30 years? Well you go out on a fun little tour of food, wine and beer tastings. Angela and Dave brought a beautiful pecan pie (my favorite) so we started on the deck with coffee and pie and then we headed out towards The Lake on the Mountain and ended up at Waupoos Estates Winery first. Overlooking Prince Edward Bay and surrounded by grapevines and beautiful gardens, they let you go for a walk around with a glass or wine or beer and take in the scenery. Ang and I got our anniversary picture taken at 'The door to the good life' lol. From here we went on to The Miller House Cafe at The Lake on the Mountain Resort which also has stunning views over the water. This place has the most delicious charcuterie, artisan cheeses and warm french bread. We mentioned in conversation that Parson's Brewing Company had a pretty nice fried bologne sandwich so off we went to visit them. They also have lovely fresh quacamole and nice burger too. Back to our place for coffee and sweets. What a really amazing spur of the moment adventure. Thank for your friendship over the years Angela Webster. Treasure it xoxo

We love The Bean Counter! Best soups and sandwiches and so much more. Absolutely delicious...not to mention their coffee...gelato and their bakery The County Sweet Spot!

This is called gelato heaven!!! We offer non dairy based/vegan gelato flavours as well as regular gelato flavours.
