The stone and brick building has served many uses over its more than 150 years. Initially it was coffin-manufacturing shop, Evens Lumber sold their trim out of it in the days when baseboards were 10” high. More recently it’s been a judo school, photography studio, hairdressing salon, even a Mexican food outlet. Now it is completely renovated with all modern amenities, except a flat floor! The open

concept living space has a dining table next to the large window facing the street where you can watch the world go by until early evening when the street gets very quiet. The pullout couch is excellent for relaxing if you want to take in some TV entertainment either through Netflix (streaming??) or the regular cable system. Converted to a bed it sleeps 2 adults. The Queen size Murphy bed allows a spacious living area when raised and when lowered you can to lie down either to continue viewing your favorite show or for a snooze. The large bathroom offers a modern comfortable size shower and a large vanity; toiletries and a hair drier are included. The 7’ x12’ den can be used as you choose; for extra sleeping space using the 2 bunks provided or for safe storage of sports equipment such as road or mountain bikes.
