She has been well loved and cared for by all her owners, including the current proprietors , Barb and James Mason, who bought her in October, 2014. When James retires from teaching at Crescent School in Toronto, they are hoping to retire here. The house is perfectly situated in the County. You can literally walk to a large array of restaurants and cafes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have lis
ted our favorite places under the What’s Going On in PE County. Your welcome basket is provided by the Regent Cafe on Main Street. Each basket is lovingly prepared specifically for Jamieson House guests, and we hope you take the time to wander downtown for a meal and meet the owners Meghan Van Horne or Dave Wheatly. The house has lots of cosy nooks and crannies to cuddle up on a couch with a quilt and read, or to sit around the fireplace with a glass of wine and catch up. The kitchen has just been completely renovated to bring back the country hardwood floor and a booth table for family dinners. A new LG Smart TV will allow for family movie nights after a lazy afternoon by the pool or the beach, which is only a short 20 minute drive away. ( free park pass included with rental). There are literally dozens of wineries within biking distance. We have a lots of room to store the bikes and park your cars as well. The white couches, open pool in the backyard, and the steep back stairwell means the property is not well suited to little tots, as they would need to be watched constantly. We want everyone who comes to have a relaxing, pampered, restful visit. Jamieson House has quickly won the hearts of many and we are hoping you will enjoy your stay year after year…
