One of the LARGEST cod fish ever caught on a rod! 102.7 pounds!

Daniel Pipe caught this 160cm long (5 feet 2.9 inches) with a weight of 46.6 kilos (102.7 pounds) off Northern Norway!

Possibly the largest cod fish ever caught by rod during the summer season! As the largest was caught during the fall!.

2024 Recreational Cod Fishery opens next weekend,,, book your charters now

⚠️ : 2024 Recreational Food Fishery Dates Announced! OPEN A Total Of 39 Days! 📢

DFO has announced that the cod recreational fishery will be open for a total of 39 days and no requirement for a licence or tags.

Recreational fishers are limited to five (5) groundfish per day (including Cod). However, the maximum boat limit when three or more people are fishing is 15 groundfish.

🐟 Species and Area:

The recreational groundfish fishery will occur in all NAFO areas/subareas around Newfoundland and Labrador, which includes 2GH, 2J3KL, 3Ps, 3Pn and 4R. Three exceptions are the Eastport, Gilbert Bay and Laurentian Channel Marine Protected Areas (MPA) where recreational groundfish fishing will not be permitted.

Tours start at $345+ HST, includes a 2 hour tour for a group of up to 4 people. All fishing equipment included. You keep the fish on retention days. (Sat, Sun, Mon)

We also offer a 5 hour tour to fish more offshore at Cape St. Francis. $595+ HST.
