There currently is a 2 for one airfare promotion and the ‘free at sea’ promotion that includes the beverage package.
I’m holding cruise space but if these promos end, it changes the pricing. A small deposit secures your space.

I have blocked the cruise space! We are excited about this one. I feel it will sell quickly.
The 2nt hotel and cruise priced indicated includes beverage package, wifi, specialty dining package and some shore excursion credit white on the ship as well as the gratuities. Nice pricing for a balcony cabin.
Inside cabins and Club Balcony cabins are also available.
We are unable to book flights just yet as it’s too early. An approximate cost is $1000 per person and that should cover the transfers airport to hotel and hotel to ship and ship to airport too.

Hey to all that are interested in the Maritimes New England, I will be adding one night hotel in Quebec City at the end of the cruise (for the group). It just makes sense, to see some sights there before returning home.

I’ll include this information when I email everyone. Of course, you can opt out of this and fly home the day we get off the ship or you can extend your stay longer, then you’d travel home on your own.

Our next port was Kralendijk, Bonaire. This is a Dutch island known for beautiful beaches and great diving. We set off to visit the salt flats. We learned how they let sea water into ’flats’ or fields and after the sun evaporates the water and salt is left behind, they harvest the salt. This is salt like in your salt shaker, your water softener… and as our guide said ‘on her margarita glass’! Very interesting. The little huts you see in the pictures are historic slave huts, from the times of slavery on the island. The slaves needed to walk to the salt fields and it was far. They’d often just sleep on the ground rather than walk back to town. These huts were constructed and 4 or 5 men would stay in one of these tiny huts.
Bonaire is also known for having many flamingos. We seen flocks of them in the distance but few up close. The only wild animals on the island are donkeys! We seen some of them too. Our tour ended with a few minutes at Sebastian’s Beach. We enjoyed watching the kite surfers there. Once back on the ship and after ‘dinner’, we went to the live show in the theatre.

Gee, it’s been busy since our return! Here are some pictures from our first port on our cruise - Saint George’s, Grenada. You may have heard of Saint Vincent and the Grenedines? Grenada belongs to the Windward Islands, the southern group of the Lesser Antilles in the West Indies. It is an independent island state within the Commonwealth of Nations in the West Indies is one of the smallest independent countries in the western hemisphere.

We chose a tour that took us into the mountain area to a botanical garden…. This lady showed us all kinds of herbs and spices growing in their garden. She spoke of the foods these were used with when cooking and also spoke of medicinal qualities. She was very knowledgeable and we found it very interesting. Next we were off to tour a historic sugar mill and operating rum distillery. Sugar cane industry in Grenada has become very small in more recent years, but they still produce rum here. I think we look pretty good in those hard hats! Haha. The coffee liquor was most delicious so we bought some! We ended the tour with a visit to popular Grand Anse Beach before returning to the ship.

Race horses exercising in the sea. Amazing to watch. There were many of them and they do this realty every morning. The race track/stable is just a couple of blocks away. Pebble Beach, Carlisle Bay. Barbados.

So, recently ‘this’ happened! We flew to Barbados and after a one night stay, we boarded the beautiful Rhapsody of the Seas. Our ports where Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba and Trinidad…. The Dutch Caribbean and the West Indies. I don’t like to post while we are away…. So now that we are home, here come the pictures!

Well, this sailing is now 80% sold and we are 11+ months from our departure. This is such a popular itinerary. What does this mean for us, it means I can no longer ‘hold’ cabins, for my group, without deposits/names. Therefore, if you are considering, now is certainly the time to book. Who else can I get booked? If I have sent you the information and you are thinking about it, give me a call. I can answers any questions you have and we can secure your spot. Booking early means that you get best choice of cabin on the ship. Our group is growing and we'd love to have you along with us. A year from right now, we will be enjoying the rivers of France and the French Riviera!

Travelling on a hosted group with Glenda's Travel means that we spend the travel days together.... we navigate check ins and airports and connection times and all the interesting things that happen on 'travel day' together. Once in destination, it's everyone's vacation.... take some time on your own to roam the streets of the little towns and villages and enjoy a coffee or a cold beverage at a local shop or pub or wander these streets with others from the group, sleep in or get up early, take an excursion that day or not! Do as you please. We often gather as a group before dinner each evening to share the stories of the day.... but again, if you don't feel like 'happy hour', it's your holiday.... do as you please! Dine with others or dine on your own. Stay up late or go to bed early..... It's all your choice. I am there for you every single day if you need me to help with anything that would make your vacation more enjoyable. THIS is how we 'roll', just in case you were wondering!
