Escape the crowds and the busyness of summer. This forest retreat is cool and quiet. But if you do need to hit up a beach we are 20 min to 4 beautiful beaches and all the Shuswap has to offer.

Flowers to restore my faith-
Today I had a guest bring me flowers. This was after she found out that the guest that checked out prior to her stole or damaged about $3000 worth from the chalet.

It was a rough day and I had lost a bit more faith in my fellow man. From the dyson vacuum to the toilet paper! Their dog ripped up the base of the tree in the birdhouse bedroom which is not something you can just replace. So sad.

The flowers were a small jester but it did remind me that 99% of our guests have been amazing considerate humans. They truly appreciate our little precious piece of heaven in the forest and we truly appreciate them!!

So to the low life’s that wrecked my day, I hope you found some use for all that cleaning supplies and you forgot the plug-in for the stereo, sucker.
