For over 25 years, Juanita shared her deep passion for storytelling, cycling and walking through Toronto's beautiful, lush green spaces with friends and family; they have loved it, especially the inside knowledge that makes these nature gems unique. Toronto Waterfront Eco Tours was founded in 2018 when Juanita Smith (owner & lead guide) decided to formalize her hobby and share (to a broader audien

ce) her enthusiasm for outdoor adventure and nature. Originally from the Amazon Region of South America, Juanita has called Toronto home for over 40 years. She is a history buff and obsessed with all things about nature, Toronto Waterfront and Ravines. What began as a way for Juanita to connect to nature and share her passion, conviction and joy with friends and family has blossomed into Toronto Waterfront Eco Tours, with tours scheduled for each weekend between May and October. Toronto Waterfront Eco Tours blend activities such as walking and cycling with relaxation in some of Toronto's most beautiful natural areas. As an ex-pat from the Amazon Region, Juanita has found that Toronto has its rainforest throughout the Ravine and waterfront and is thrilled to help create memorable nature experiences for all Eco-Tour guests!

I had never been to Toronto Island, and I feel that there is no better way to explore it than on this bicycle tour.

It was intimate yet relaxed and was the perfect mix of exercise, history and adventure.

From the exploration of the Toronto waterfront, the water taxi to the island, the exploration of all the nooks and crannies, the mid-day break for snacks, the touring of the GORGEOUS cottages, and the ferry back...
