Saturday we had our mirror photobooth at Chris and Alicia’s wedding and as always, everyone who lined up to take their photo loved it! Chris also did his stag with us earlier in the year and was one of many clients to take full advantage of the epic promo we ran that we may need to bring back where if you book your stag with us, and then also get the mirror photobooth for your wedding, you get a free raffle prize for the stag, discount on the photobooth, and our vintage audio guestbook included at the wedding for free! 13 years ago today Entourage was born, from an idea scribbled onto paper, to what it is currently, nobody could have predicted just a normal guy with an idea could have taken it this far. Some told me not to bother, there’s too much competition, while others said it’s too much work to run a business you’re better off just getting a normal 9-5 so you can have work benefits. I didn’t listen to any of the noise, I didn’t get too down when obstacles appeared in front of me. Instead of throwing in the towel and giving up because things got too difficult, I simply took a deep breathe, and analyzed how I could overcome this challenge each and every time it presented itself.

You need to be able to handle adversity, you definitely need to lead by example and choose carefully who you employ, determination will keep you going on even the toughest of days, but above all, if I can give a word of advice to anyone thinking of starting a business, you absolutely need to be doing it not for the money, but because you have a passion for whatever it is you’re getting into. When you’re passionate about your work, it will show, and it won’t feel like work after a certain amount of time. The money will come, but if you do anything just for the money, you will never be satisfied and you will find yourself a slave to the dollar, and when someone calls you with a higher dollar, you will drop what you’re doing and run to it, potentially letting down whoever was counting on you, showing lack of dedication and loyalty, and thus making you no longer self employed, but a slave to the dollar bill.

Do it with passion, or not at all.

History in the making! Huge thanks to Massimo from Steeles Auto for working with me on this transaction, so that my long time goal of owning a truck can be possible! 👊✅🙏

May seems to be the month that Entourage makes history - our first ever stag took place in May of 2010, we moved into our current office at Steeles & Pine Valley in May of 2014, and today we acquire what will be the Entourage truck for many years to come! 🛻 😎🥂🙌😍

Crazy that last January, during that last lockdown which never should have happened, I was nearly evicted for being behind in rent, multiple people were telling me to “go get a normal job and sell Entourage because events are a thing of the past,” my flex was re possessed, I fell into a deep, dark depression, but one thing I never did, was quit on my dreams. This is a testament to having the perseverance and the drive to see things through, fight the good fight, and remember, as long as you work your ass off, things will eventually happen for you. 💪
